Profhilo

Profhilo is a popular regenerative injectable treatment that is often requested by name! It is well-known and loved by clients (and a personal favourite of Dr Alex!) for good reason. 

 

What is it?

Profhilo consists of a high concentration of pure hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance found within our skin. 

 

Why all the hype?

Profhilo has maintained its popularity over the years due to its well-evidenced bio-remodelling properties. It directly targets skin laxity and improves elasticity by up-regulating the production of four types of collagen in the skin. It also draws moisture into the skin and provides long-lasting, deep hydration, often referred to as the ‘injectable moisturiser’. 

 

The overall result is profound hydration, improved firmness and elasticity. Profhilo has a plumping effect on thinning or crepey skin with visible reductions in fine lines to the mid-lower face.

What does Profhilo treatment involve?

The treatment consists of small superficial injections of pure HA to the mid- and lower-face. Profhilo requires an initial course of two treatments (one month apart), after which your results should become noticeable.
